Fixing Expert Football Position Strengths

Something that confuses and angers me about 90%of the football strength training programs out there is that everybody does the exact same thing. The Wide Outs go through the exact same training as the QB's. The Corners do the same workouts, sets and associates as the Lineman. And Kickers, who knows what the hell they do.

Somehow we all forgotten moving sideways. O-lineman often need to move block, drop step, or post-and-gather, yet 99.9% of a lot of football training programs only focuses on straight-ahead speed and strength.

They can be quickly placed into just about any form of conditioning if you are thinking about adding them to your conditioning program. Add them to the end of your sprint training, or, simply take a day and do just sandbag exercises, for high reps. Think of it as a mini-strongman training session.

We went to their field to play and warmed up for 30 minutes utilizing our base dynamic warm-ups and anglel kind dealing with. We have scrimmaged this organization prior to and us coaches traded amusing barbs back and forth during the skirmish to keep the state of mind favorable. We had pop for the other team and asked consent from their coaches to hand it out at the end of the skirmish. They were all smiles as we closed it out on a favorable note and thanked them for letting us boil down and play.
